This is an Intermediate level, self-paced, eLearning course, applicable to professionals from L&D, HR or to anyone seeking knowledge on competency-based training development approach. There is no mandatory prerequisite to opt for this course, however prior work experience or knowledge related to L&D or HR function, will be useful. The objective of this course is to train the learners on design, development, implementation & evaluation of the competency-based training approach. By the end of this course, learners will be well-versed with the foundational knowledge essential to learn this approach. They will learn about aspects like designing curriculum, developing training content, training KPIs, competency identification, establishing competency levels, competency framework development, performing learning needs analysis, competency-based training design, development, implementation, & training evaluations. They will also gain important knowledge about integrating technology, identifying challenges, applying mitigation strategies and following best practices for competency-based trainings & more. This course is facilitated by an AI bot, & consists of 16 Lessons, spread across 4 Modules, namely 1 - KEY-TERMINOLOGIES, 2 – CORE CONCEPTS, 3 – TRAINING DEVELOPMENT Process & training evaluations and 4 – ADDITIONAL LEARNING. Each module consists of up to 4 lessons explained with engaging multimedia. Downloadable study material is provided after each lesson which consists of practice questions. This course does not contain any built-in evaluations, lesson videos only, hence it does not qualify you for the course on "Final Evaluations". All learners will receive an autogenerated certificate of attendance, upon finishing the course.
