This is the full-version of the course on Competency-based Training. It is an Intermediate level, self-paced, eLearning course, applicable to professionals from L&D, HR, Management or to anyone seeking knowledge on Competency-based Training development approach. Prior work experience or knowledge related to L&D, HR or Management function, will be useful. The objective of this course is to train the learners on design, development, implementation & evaluation of competency-based trainings. By the end of this course, learners will be well-versed with the foundational knowledge essential to learn this approach. They will be able to perform aspects like design a curriculum, develop training content, training KPIs, identify competencies , establish competency levels, structure a competency framework, perform learning needs analysis, and develop a strategy for the design, development, implementation, & evaluation of CBTs. They will also gain important knowledge about integrating technology, identifying challenges, applying mitigation strategies and following best practices for competency-based trainings & more. This course consists of 16 Lessons, spread across 4 Modules, namely 1 - KEY-TERMINOLOGIES, 2 – CORE CONCEPTS, 3 – TRAINING DEVELOPMENT Process & training evaluations and 4 – ADDITIONAL LEARNING. Each module consists of ~ 4 lessons built with engaging multimedia, animated recap elements and chat-bot to ask queries. There are various evaluations like tests, assessments, assignments with guided template and a final exam. Downloadable study material is provided after each lesson and consists of additional practice questions.
