This is an Intermediate level, self-paced, eLearning course, applicable to professionals from L&D, HR or to anyone seeking knowledge on competency-based training development approach. There is no mandatory prerequisite to opt for this course, however prior work experience or knowledge related to L&D or HR function, will be useful. The objective of this course is to train the learners on design, development, implementation & evaluation of competency-based training approach. This section of the course comprises of Module 1 – Key Terminologies. Upon completion of this module, learners will be able to understand and apply the following knowledge: 1. What is Curriculum, its components, its principles and benefits in CBTs, along with different models of curriculum development. 2. What is Content Creation & Curation and its significance along with tips for effective content creation and curation for CBTs. 3. What is Instructional Designing, its characteristics, its principles, various types and methods involved. 4. What are KPIs or “Key Performance Indicators” for CBTs, its importance, and different types. Learners will be able to apply their learning to design a curriculum, identify suitable instructional design methods and KPIs, through an assignment. All lessons are explained with engaging multimedia, animations, images, infographics, examples and case-studies. Course evaluations comprise of MCQ based tests, assessments and assignments with guided templates. Downloadable study material provided after each lesson which consists of additional practice questions. All learners will receive an autogenerated certificate of achievement, upon finishing the course. Final course completion certificate requirements - completion of all 4 modules, 60% in final exam + assignment submission.
