3. Hosting and operation of the website (Wix)

This website is created and hosted using the services of

Wix.com Ltd.

40 Namal Tel Aviv St.

Tel Aviv 6350671

Israel

(“Wix”).

Wix provides the technical platform and infrastructure for this website, including hosting, storage of content, and certain analytics and marketing features.

I have concluded a data processing agreement with Wix in accordance with Article 28 GDPR under which Wix undertakes to process personal data of visitors to this website (“users‑of‑users”) only on my documented instructions and in compliance with GDPR.

Wix may process data on servers located in different countries, including Israel, the European Union and the United States. For data transfers to countries outside the EU (“third countries”), Wix relies, according to its own information, on EU adequacy decisions (e.g. for Israel) and appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Article 46 GDPR. For further details, please refer to the current Wix Privacy Policy and Wix Data Processing Agreement.

4. Categories of data, purposes and legal bases

Depending on how you use this website and my services, the following categories of personal data may be processed:

- Master and contact data (e.g. name, e‑mail address, billing address)

- Contract and course data (e.g. booked courses, progress, certificates)

- Payment data (e.g. transaction ID, payment method, payment status via external payment providers)

- Usage data (e.g. pages visited, click paths, access times)

- Device and connection data (e.g. IP address, browser type and version, operating system).

Your data is processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases (Article 6(1) GDPR):

- To provide this website and ensure its stability and security (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

- To initiate and perform contracts for online courses, including registration, access to content and payment processing (performance of a contract or pre‑contractual measures, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

- To comply with legal retention and documentation obligations, particularly under tax and commercial law (legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

- For newsletters and certain online marketing activities, based on your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

- For statistical evaluations and improvement of my services, based on my legitimate interests, as long as no consent is required and you have not objected (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Provision of the website and log files

Each time you access this website, Wix automatically collects certain information and stores it in server log files. This may include:

- IP address of the requesting device

- Date and time of access

- URL of the page or file accessed

- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

- Browser type and version, operating system.

This data is technically necessary to correctly display the website, maintain stability and security and detect misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable website operation). Log files are usually deleted after a short retention period, unless a longer storage period is necessary for security reasons.

6. Contact forms, e‑mail contact and course bookings

If you contact me via contact form, e‑mail or booking functions, I process the data you provide (e.g. name, e‑mail address, message, course selection) in order to handle your request and any follow‑up questions.

Depending on the nature of your request, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre‑contractual measures) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). If you expressly ask to be contacted or subscribe to information, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) may also apply.

7. User accounts and learning platform

To access certain online courses, you may need to create a personal user account. For this purpose, I process, in particular:

- Name, e‑mail address and any other information necessary for contract performance

- Access data (username and encrypted password – the technical storage takes place on Wix infrastructure)

- Course data such as booked courses, progress, test results and certificates.

Processing is necessary to provide you with personalized access to course content, track your progress and issue participation or achievement certificates, where applicable. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

8. Payment processing

For payments for online courses, I use external payment providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, credit card providers or Wix Payments). Payment processing is carried out directly between you and the respective payment provider. I usually only receive limited payment information (e.g. transaction ID, payment method, payment status), not your full account or card data.

The legal basis for my processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations, e.g. retention under tax law). For the processing of data by the payment providers themselves, their own privacy policies apply in addition.

9. Newsletter and direct marketing

If you subscribe to my newsletter, I process your e‑mail address and, where provided, your name or other details in order to send you regular information about new courses, offers or content.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 7 of the German Unfair Competition Act (UWG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in each newsletter or by e‑mail to the address stated in this Privacy Policy.

For sending newsletters I may use an external mailing service provider with whom I have concluded a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.

10. Cookies, tracking and analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g. pixels, scripts) in order to provide essential functions, to analyze usage and, where you consent, to support marketing activities. Wix provides tools for cookie banners and consent management that can be configured for GDPR compliance.

10.1 Essential cookies

Essential cookies are technically necessary to operate the website and provide basic functions (e.g. language settings, login status, shopping cart). They are used on the basis of Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications‑Digital‑Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) in conjunction with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

10.2 Optional cookies (analytics / marketing)

Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you have explicitly consented via the cookie banner. The legal bases are Section 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can withdraw or change your consent at any time for the future via the cookie settings on this website.

Depending on your configuration, the following tools may be used (please adjust to your actual tools):

- Web analytics tools (e.g. Wix Analytics, Google Analytics)

- Marketing pixels (e.g. Meta / Facebook Pixel)

- Other third‑party scripts.

Details of the individual cookies (name, purpose, storage period, provider) can be found in the cookie banner or in a separate cookie overview.

11. Data transfers to third countries

The use of Wix and other service providers may entail transfers of personal data to countries outside the European Union (third countries).

Where no EU adequacy decision exists, such transfers are based on appropriate safeguards under Article 46 GDPR, in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), combined with additional technical and organizational measures where appropriate (e.g. encryption, pseudonymization).

A current list of the service providers used and information on any third‑country transfers is available in the latest version of this Privacy Policy.

12. Retention periods

I store personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.

In particular:

- Contract and billing data are generally retained for up to 10 years in accordance with statutory tax and commercial retention obligations.

- Data from contact enquiries are deleted once your enquiry has been fully processed and no further legal retention periods apply.

- Usage and analytics data are either anonymized or deleted after a reasonable period, unless there is a legitimate interest in longer storage.

13. Your rights as a data subject

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

- Right of access (Article 15 GDPR)

- Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR)

- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”, Article 17 GDPR)

- Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)

- Right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR)

- Right to object to certain processing operations (Article 21 GDPR)

If processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time with future effect (Article 7(3) GDPR).

To exercise your rights, you can contact me at any time using the contact details provided above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

14. Obligation to provide data

For the mere use of this website, you are not obliged to provide personal data. However, certain functions (e.g. registration, booking, payment) require specific data. Without this data, you may not be able to use these functions or conclude a contract.

15. Data security

I use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access and disclosure. These include, in particular, encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and regular security reviews of systems and service providers.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

I reserve the right to adapt this Privacy Policy in order to reflect changes in legal requirements or my services. The version available on this website at the time of your visit shall apply.
